Synopsis: On May 13, 1939, the S.S. "St. Louis" leaves from Hamburg for Cuba carrying 937 Jewish refugees. Their escape, however, is actually a Nazi ploy to advertise the Jewish 'problem' in an attempt to secure world-wide approval for Germany's persecution of the Jews.
